Assistant restaurant Director in Paris
Duration: 6 months
Where: Paris 9
Language level: french (minimum B1 if foreign), English level B2 and a third language would be a plus
Gratification: legal internship
Advantages: 50% of transportation fees (metro card), 1 staff meal during working hours, 2 non-consecutive days off and split shifts schedules probable (work breaks between shifts)
Who are we ?
A large hotel with a meeting space, restaurants, bar, fitness centre, and an excellent location in the capital. Our staff works every day to provide quality service to a very international clientele. Our meeting rooms are very well equipped and can accommodate groups of five to 500 people.
Our kitchen brigade offers a bistronomy type of restoration to satisfy all the desires of our customers.
Your duties
Assist his (her) superior in all operational, managerial, and administrative management of his or her department:
- Organise restaurant and bar services, as well as breakfast service
- Enforce HACCP standards, general cleanliness, and excellent conduct of the various points of sale.
- Maintain and develop restaurant and hotel standards.
- Welcome, advise, and follow up with clients
- Build customer loyalty with the staff’s interpersonal skills and know-how.
- Organise and plan the work of the brigade
- Recruit the right profiles
- Manage the department’s inventory as well as the wine cellar.
- Manage the department’s inventory
- Cooperate with the Sommelier to manage the wine cellar
- Manage groups and events.
- Organise information and training meetings; motivate the staff (performance, results, events, etc.).
