Housekeeping assistant manager Paris

Duration: 6 months
Where: Paris 4th
Language level: french (minimum B1 if foreign), English level B2 and a third language would be a plus
Gratification: legal internship
Advantages: 50% of transportation fees (metro card), 1 staff meal during working hours and 2 non-consecutive days off

Your duties

  • Help the Executive Housekeeper in all operational, managerial, and administrative management of his or her department.
  • Take responsibility for the cleanliness of the hotel as well as customers’ comfort and well-being
  • Supervise all Housekeeping, Linens, and Laundry department staff whose efficiency and work he/she coordinates in order to ensure flawless quality of service for customers
  • Receive all customer comments with empathy and communicate them to his or her supervisor

  • Plan the work of the housekeeping department according to the weekly schedule of tasks to be performed
  • Delegate work according to the time slots and schedules to be filled
  • Organise information and training meetings, motivate the team (performance, results, events). 
  • Ensure that his or her staff offers customised service to each customer according to their requests. 
  • Help the Executive Housekeeper in all operational, managerial, and administrative management of his or her department. 

Your profile

  • Very active job requiring excellent appearance and a strong personality.
  • Organisational skills, leadership, discretion, and diplomacy are required.
  • Excellent manager
  • Other key skills: Excellent communicator, team spirit, relevant experience in the field, leadership, attention to detail, responsiveness and adaptability, educator, proactive, optimistic, and positive 
  • Perfect command of several foreign languages 
  • Proficiency in Office tools a must 
  • Hospitality training 

 


If you wish to work in the housekeeping department or in any other accommodation department, this position will allow you to manage a team, manage the organisation and customer satisfaction .

To become a manager, you have to go through the housekeeping department!
