Assistant Human Resources Manager in Paris
Duration: 6 months
Where: Paris 7th
Language level: French (minimum B1 if foreign), English level B2 and a third language would be a plus
Gratification: legal internship
Advantages: 50% of transportation fees (metro card), 1 staff meal during working hours and 2 non-consecutive days off
Who are we ?
A large hotel with a meeting space, restaurants, bar, fitness centre, and an excellent location in the capital. Our staff works every day to provide quality service to a very international clientele.
Your duties
- Implement all necessary measures to find the right candidates for the positions to be filled at the establishment
- Compose and publish ads
- Manage and sort applications in order to confirm the right candidate with the team managers
- Carry out telephone screenings before the first interview
- Organise and participate in interviews
- Ensure quality and respect for the hiring process for new employees
- Organise the integration and support of new employees
- Conduct administrative management of staff (payroll, medical visits, health insurance enrolment, etc.)
- Manage employee exits (uniforms, exit documents, etc.)
- Set up training tools
- Pass on and bring the hotel’s values to life
- Actively participate in effective internal communications
- Enliven employee’s lives at the company.
- Plan and communicate important information in a timely manner.
- Be able to tailor your message to the audience you are addressing.
- Simplify complex problems so that they can be easily understood by everyone
- Organise information and training meetings; motivate the staff (performance, results, events, etc.).
- Use systems to generate reports and analyse numbers and data

- A very good general education
- Fully bilingual in French and English

Graduated from a 4/5 years’ higher education course in human resources : You have had an initial successful and significant experience in a human resources department, ideally in hotels or restaurants. Your rigour, organisation, and creativity will be the keys to your success in this position.
