Javier, Talent Developer’s first client, creates his own company Peru Brasa!

In order to complete a master’s degree at Ferrandi, Javier Jimenez contacted Talent Developer to find an end-of-course internship. A collaboration that continued with advice, with the aim of creating a company. Testimonial.

“I was in a hurry to find an internship to finish my master’s program in hospitality management, at Ferrandi,” confides Javier Jimenez. That was in September 2020. A friend told him about Talent Developer. The Peruvian student asked around and decided to apply. “Between the health crisis and my foreign nationality, my search for an internship was very difficult. What’s more, I wasn’t sure I would find the internship that best suited my profile and expectations. For all these reasons, I needed support and help”, explains Javier Jimenez. His application was accepted by Estrella Maillet and Philippine Freiman, the duo at the head of Talent Developer. The student was taken on from October 2020. “Everything went very quickly. The Talent Developer team was responsive and efficient in helping me find a position that both matched me and would allow me to gain the skills I needed. At the same time, Estrella Maillet and Philippine Freiman followed me, supported me, and made sure that the company followed the plan that was initially established with them and me”, Javier Jimenez explains. What did he like best about this support? “The contact, the follow-up and the total understanding of my situation before finding an internship. I always had the impression that Estrella Maillet and Philippine Freiman knew what I wanted. So I was very happy and satisfied with their support. They know the business and the needs of young graduates, who are looking to develop in the hospitality and gastronomy sectors in Paris. They also like to share their knowledge and expertise! This is a real plus. “

“I needed help to register my company’s trademark with INPI
(the national institute for intellectual property)”

Javier Jimenez’s internship support lasted until March 2021. But the trust between Talent Developer and the Ferrandi student was such that he asked Estrella Maillet and Philippine Freiman for advice on the creation of his company. Namely: a catering concept focusing on Peruvian-style marinated and braised chicken, with takeaway sales and delivery service. Since last April, he has therefore continued his exchanges with Talent Developer. “I am still being supported today. I needed help in particular to register my company’s trademark with the INPI and Estrella Maillet guided me through the steps to be taken. Then I was able to discuss with Philippine Freiman the best location for opening my concept in Paris. They also encouraged me to rework and fine-tune my marketing mix in order to present the most relevant business plan possible. “Currently, Javier Jimenez is looking for a commercial space to open his Peruvian restaurant. This is the last step in his project, because, he says, “the recipes are already ready”.
