Talent Developer offers tailor-made “à la carte” services to support students in Paris

Six months after its creation, Talent Developer is expanding its network. The idea is to offer a wide range of solutions to young people looking for internships and work experience. Partnerships have thus been formed with the Alliance Française and the Atelier des chefs.

This is one of Talent Developer’s missions: to be able to establish links with a multitude of players linked to hospitality. Indeed, this is an essential key to guiding young people towards internships or other work placements tailored to their profile and needs. Six months after launching Talent Developer and despite the health crisis, Estrella Maillet and Philippine Freiman are multiplying their contacts. The objective: to encourage partnerships to develop their network and extend the range of proposals to young people who contact the duo. This is how they approached the Alliance française. Why? Because some of the students we meet come from abroad, don’t speak French, don’t have a visa… For them, the Alliance française can be a relevant and interesting partner to facilitate their learning in France and in particular to obtain an internship agreement”, explains Philippine Freiman. But the Alliance française is also a guarantee of quality in terms of teaching. And that is exactly what Talent Developer is aiming for. Estrella Maillet and Philippine Freiman only seek to lift young people towards the best knowledge and the most rewarding experiences

Another partnership is underway. It aims to bring Talent Developer closer to the Atelier des chefs, which provides cooking courses in workshops or online. The idea: “We would like to offer foreign students, who are not yet established in France and whose aim is to open a restaurant, the opportunity to take their CAP in cooking at a distance”, explains Philippine Freiman. This saves precious time and guarantees a credited diploma, with the added benefit of an internship agreement. “In return, both the Atelier des Chefs and the Alliance Française are willing to offer our support services to their clients,” stress Estrella Maillet and Philippine Freiman. These are “win-win” partnerships. Partnerships that also confirm the accuracy of Talent Developer’s positioning. “Our offers meet real needs”, notes Philippine Freiman. This reassures her in this particular period, when hotels are not yet full and restaurants are still practising “click & collect”.
